I have two SuperDry rookie jackets now, one from 2017 and this one. This one is more comfortable and warmer (but not winter-warm, just cold spring/fall), but it's not as detailed (doesn't have distressed detail and all the extra patches, and visual bells and whistles that 2017 model had). If you are looking for a highly satisfying military jacket that doesn't have to be too flashy, this is definitely it. Hard, high quality outside material that protects and looks great, super nice and soft inside. Hard to get it wet, hard to puncture, etc.
