Well made but much too large shoulders and slim in hipsThe color… fluorescent pink was not a color option, I’d have chosen…I think i ordered magenta?The actual color I received was nothing like the photos!The jacket fits amazing, even if the arms are short.. (more length would be great)I ordered a small5’5 120lbsHope it holds up in snow/rain while shoveling.Thankfully the snow plows will never miss meRuns a little smallLove this jacket! Received it as a Christmas gift and wore it for the first time today. It's chilly (45 degrees) and rainy and this jacket was perfect. The rain beaded right up and off and it kept the chill out.I don't ever wear raincoats because they're usually hideous but this one so cute and stylish and gives you some shape.Like a lot of reviewers, I do believe it runs smaller than normal, which I think has to do with it being more fitted than typical raincoats. I originally received a Large, which is what I normally wear (L-size 10-12) and while I could zip it and it fit on the top, it was tight around my hips and bottom and there's no way I could've worn any kind of thick shirt underneath. I exchanged for an XL and it fits much better. I definitely recommend sizing up if you have any type of hips or butt, as this jacket hits right at your hips.I can't speak for durability since I've only worn it once, but it seems very well made and like it will last me a long time.Had to dock one star because of the sizing being off.I love the fit and style of this jacket. It’s perfect for a rainy day, cool or warm weather. Unfortunately the color is wrong. The description shows a beautiful orange color but the jacket is actually very pink.High quality for sure, fits nicely, though as other reviews says is pretty fitted through the body, but nice room in the shoulders. I usually wear XL in most things and that is what I ordered and it fits well though slightly more snug though the mid section due to my constant dietary indiscretions. I have another HH raincoat which is the same size and fits very similarly. The color is a beautiful fusia color not the dark orange it shows in the picture! The fabric is nice and doesn’t feel plasticy or stiff. Haven’t had any rain yet so wore it out in a very stiff wind and it was cozy and wind-proof. Hood seemed to fit nicely. I have no doubt it will be water proof as all HH stuff is. Nice pockets, zipper and velcro on sleeves to make adjustable at wrist. I LOVE it!I ordered an X-large jacket after reading reviews stating the sizes run a tad bit small. I'm 5'0 and weigh 176lbs. I'm a heavy set short female. This jacket bunches up when I sit down only because I am short. All in all it exceeds it's job. I love this jacket and I look forward to owning more.I did have an additional problem with this purchase. I'm not sure whether the fact that where I live had something to do with the tracking of this jacket. I was excited to the point where I would constantly track/check to see exactly when this purchase would be delivered. The amazon tracking tab was reporting my purchase had been delivered on a specific date. The prediction was off. I had looked inside my mailbox and doorsteps. I had not received anything. the fact that I had not received any packages, I called the number Amazon provided, I spoke with a very concerned employer who did an exceptional job. She gathered all necessary information and had my jacket delivered the next early morning!!!!!!!Because of her I will definetly order from Amazon again.This jacket is beautiful. The raspberry color is gorgeous. As other reviewers have stated, this is a FITTED jacket. It looked great on, very slimming, but the extra large just fit around my size 14 hips. I hated to return it, but there's no way I could have worn a bulky sweater or fleece top under under it. I bought this to replace another Helly Hanson jacket that was huge on me after I lost 35 pounds. I was surprised to discover both jackets, the one that just closed without pulling and the one I could now zip and pull the front about 7" away from my body were HH EXTRA LARGE. I zipped both of them and placed the old jacket flat on the bed with the new jacket on top. I lined up the left side seams and was startled to see 4 1/2 inches of the old jacket showing past the right edge of the new jacket. I love the quality and details of Helly Hansen jackets. My whole family and I bought them for sailing, but we wear them for everything. Just be sure to check measurements, size charts, and reviews because the sizes seem to vary with the styles.I am a professional dog walker, so wear this coat for approx. 8 hours a day.I have had various other brands and nothing has withstood the weather as much as this one in 5 years.I bought the coat a couple of months ago but wanted to be able to wear it in bad weather and "test" it before writing a review.Today is day 5 of torrential rain and hailstones for us and i've remained dry. Even with my phone in my pocket, the phone has stayed dry.It is lightweight, so if like me you feel the cold; you may want to layer up underneath it.It dries quickly when wet, is a nice colour and fit (i'm a 14-16 and got the XXL because of big hips).After constant wear for a couple of months, I am noticing very slight wear to the edge of the sleeves; but I am in and out of my pockets or bag every few minutes, or holding dog leads with them round my wrist- so this is just general wear and tear and it's lasting longer than any of my other coats have so far.My only tiny problem with this coat is the mesh inside the pockets, which occasionally gets caught on my keyrings- so I have to be careful removing keys in case it's got caught, so I don't damage the coat.I would buy it again as a spare or replacement.I was going to get the XS but, after reading the comments about the small sizing, I went for the S instead. It fits well but I wish I'd got the XS as it is a bit loose on me overall. I am a size UK 8 (EU 36). Still, I have room for a thick jumper if needs be. It's light, nice quality and comes with an adjustable hem (there is a cord to tighten or loosen) and adjustable cuffs (there's velcro to adjust) and a non-removable hood. The coat does up with a zip and there are also white velcro patches down the side of the zip for double protection and a clean finish .The white colour is a proper bright white and looks good!I gave it 4 stars simply as I was a little disappointed with the sizing but the product itself is an easy 5 stars!Waited ages to get one of these and the range of choice is huge but all of them would not be suitable for dog walking. This is lightweight, fits well, waterproof and comfortable in all weathers so far. The hood is a pain as it flaps about on windy days, when it rains restricts your poriferal vision.The sleeves are extremely wide, a very strange cut. The material was good and the colour as well, but I just couldn't get over the sleeves, so sent it back.Good quality anorak but perhaps a little pricey (probably ‘for the brand name’). Unfortunately, it is a slim fitting design so did not fit me even though it was my size.
