For adults and children. Just lovely.The unusual illustrations in this book are not only beautiful, but as I turned each page, I marveled at the intricacy and skill it took to create these unique (news)paper sculptures. My granddaughter loves the stories themselves and I love the large print that makes it easy for her to read along with me. This is a very special book.These paper cut creations provide stunning and magical illustrations for these well-written fairy tales.This is a pretty book but it is also a very disappointing book! The bookstore ads and pictures of the book's cover led one to believe it contained beautiful paper pop-ups and, instead, the book only contained flat pages with photographs of paper cut-outs. I had purchased the book as a gift for a good friend who shares my love of beautiful children's books and I will give her the book but with something of an apology attached.I bought this book for my 18 year old artist daughter who is a fairy tale enthusiast We are both awed by the artist's creativity and attention to detail. This might just be our favorite fairy tale art book in our substantial collection!This is a beautiful book. I bought it for my granddaughter and I think she will love it. Wonderful stories that are perfect for reading before they go to sleep. The illustrations inspire discussion as well.Beautifully illustrated versions of many favorite tales.This artist, sculptor, is a wonder. The stories have been delightfully abbreviated - leaving out some of the scarier scenes for younger children - making plenty of room for the imaginative illustrations, which are a wonder to behold.I love it as much as the grandchildren do.I thought this book showed you how to make the 'models' as shown on the front cover, but instead found it was a storybook with the pictures made of different paper models similar to that on the front cover.Don't think, like I did, that this is an instructional book, it isn't, its a storybook with unusual 'illustrations'.Lovely retellings of the fairytales with the fascinating illustrations.
