So, it's been a log time since I could wear 5 inch spikes all day. A long time. I have lots of foot issues and I pretty much stick to flats nowadays so, when I do have to wear heels, it's just not good. None of them, even with ortho inserts and added padding, make my feet happy. Well, the days of dreading high-heel events are over! These shoes just ROCK. Amazing. When I think "Rockport", I think of elderly men's "sensible" shoes. Nope, not even close. These are totally stylish and look great. My size 9 has a four inch heel and a roughly half-inch concealed platform (completely concealed ... they are not visible at all). These are honestly "wear them all day" shoes. How do they DO this with a four inch heel ?!? Can't say enough about these ... high quality leather (real leather shoes are getting tough to find), toe not too pointy, heel high but sooo comfortable, no clomping sounds when you walk on hard floors, a very stable sole that is not at all slippery and a fine price too. I bought them in the only two colors they had in stock when I ordered (taupe and black). Both colors equally nice but the taupe is on the lighter side of what one would expect ... still neutral and great. Size seems to be dead on ... right width and length. If you are debating ... just Do It!
